In 2012, The Grand Del Mar became California's first Triple Five-Star resort receiving Forbes Travel Guide's highest rating for its hotel, spa and restaurant individually.
Today, only six properties in the world hold this high honor, and The Grand Del Mar continues to feature San Diego's only Five-Star
