Practice Facilities
Warm up for a round or perfect your technique at The Grand Golf Club’s extensive practice facilities.
From the 5,000-square-foot driving range with two large tees at each end to the secluded short game practice area complete with two bunkers and a green, players can attempt a variety of shots from different mounds, lengths and breaks.
An additional separate putting green near the first hole offers yet another option for fine tuning.
Rentals
The Grand Golf Club is proud to offer Callaway clubs, updated yearly with the newest technology. With Callaway equipment, an acclaimed course and PGA-certified professionals, your experience at San Diego’s premier golf resort will help you find more enjoyment and success in the game, regardless of skill level.
Women's, senior’s, men's regular and stiff flex, as well as left-handed sets, are all available for $85 per set. Rentals come with a pouch of six Callaway premium balls. Junior rental sets are complimentary.
Adidas and Footjoy golf shoes are also available for both men and women for $25 per pair.
On the Course
The Grand Golf Club is pleased to offer a fore caddie program, a longstanding tradition no longer found at many golf courses. An experienced caddie guides and assists you along the way providing course strategy, measuring distances, filling divots, raking bunkers and finding errant shots.
Players also enjoy comfortable golf carts stocked with refreshments and equipped with Laser Link range finders for calculating exact yardage to each hole. Complimentary yardage books, a launch monitor to measure balls in flight and several comfort stations throughout the course complete the collection of amenities offered on the course.
Golf Shop
Open from 7 a.m. to dusk, the Golf Shop is stocked with the finest sportswear, accessories and equipment, paired with a savvy team of golf professionals who will assist you in finding the perfect fit, whether it’s a glove, polo or driver.
Browse through state-of-the-art gear by Cobra, Callaway, Ping, TaylorMade and Titleist, and peruse on-trend apparel by Adidas, Dunning, Fairway and Greene, Nike, and Peter Millar.
From golf balls, apparel and fine cigars, to a wide array of tournament prize options and gift certificates — there’s something for every golf enthusiast at the Golf Shop.
Club M
Part restaurant, part sports bar and part nightclub, Club M is The Grand Del Mar's newest experience. Gear up for the greens with breakfast on the expansive terrace overlooking the 18th. Post-round, enjoy sports on the 85" flatscreens with Chef Ernest Lopez's grill favorites or stay for the late-night action, including global tapas, signature cocktails, live music, DJs and dancing.
